WOR Events return to the fantastic MAESHAFN venue near Mold in North Wales on the weekend of 20/21st March and it really is shaping up to be a brill weekend. The venue is were it all started for WOR a long time ago and has a little bit of everything that a proper Hare Scrambles/XC course should have. With an MX based type going the 5 mile loop winds its way around the mountain following lots of twisty tracks and established trails.

Sagar wins WOR TCE for Putoline Suzuki |

Tom Sagar rode his Putoline Suzuki RMX450Z to a resounding victory on Sunday at the WOR Events Time Card Enduro in Cefn Llywd forest, North Wales.
Setting the fastest time twice on the Special Test section Sagar continued to ride hard despite part of the course still holding the overnight frost in places and by the mid-way point had a considerable lead over Sherco 300 mounted Rowland Morris and KTM mounted Andrew Edwards.
The spectacular course encompassed some cracking sections through the forest, along fire roads and through a stream section, giving nearly 140 riders real value for money and varied terrain over which to test their skills.
Superb course, well run and timing was spot on. Report , full report in UKXC7 out 15th.

Tom Sagar took the spoils at the WOR time card enduro and scooped not only a lovely silver plate but also some CF Racing cash. Gareth Lloyd from CF Racing in Corwen is now a proud new offical KAWASAKI off road dealer and to celebrate the fact, the Dealer principle from the superb new shop in Corwen, North Wales, threw a lovely cash prize in for the overall winner. Teme Valley Motoduro |

Teme Valley MX kick started their season last Sunday, running their popular annual motoduro at the superb Clifton on Teme venue, nr Worcestershire.
Despite cancelling the event two weeks previous due to inclement weather, an impressive 160 plus riders turned out for what was a superb event. Gethin Price stole the show, taking two wins in the MX1 Expert category and overall victory despite a strong challenge in race two from Geoff Hand, who blew his chances after running out of fuel. more... |

The EC ‘Racing’ model now joins the ‘standard’ model and the ‘Six Day’ model.
The changes to the EC Racing model are;
-Racing stickers
-White mudguards
-OHLINS rear shock with double compression adjuster
-Racing setting SACHS front forks with gold colour adjusters (Marzocchi on EC/CC125)
-FMF Powercore 2 silencer
-RENTHAL Twinwall handlebars
-GALFER wavy discs. |

The Racing model will be available in both ‘CC’ and ‘EC’ trim and in 125,250 and 300cc.

The factory also intend to produce the ‘Nambotin Replica’ later in the year so there will be 4 models to choose from (standard, six-day, racing and nambotin) and in both ‘CC’ or ‘EC’ trim.
I have no idea of price, spec or date for the ‘Nambotin’ but I expect it to be very highly ‘specc-ed’ with Ohlins front and back. Shirty. |
Sunday 14th March - “Jack Frost Enduro” |
Starting at Saintswell Practise Track, near Bwlch-y-Sarnau, Rhayader, Mid-Wales.
Start 10.00am. Classes for – Clubman, Veterans (Overs 40’s) & Beginners. 12 mile lap including forestry tracks with 2 time checks per lap & a Special Test.
Good hard standing paddock/car park, Special Test (& refuelling area) are next to the start area.
Entries are limited to 120, so to guarantee your ride enter early.
