What our customers have to say:
Tim Tighe, Editor of UKXC Magazine:
Having experienced several Trail Tours this was my first with Trails De France, and by far the best in my opinion. Friendly, well-planned, excellent accomodation in the most beautiful part of the Cognac region with great food and event better scenery.

It had been a while since I had been on a bike with years of coffee and fags doing nothing for my fitness but our tour guide, Craig, assessed my ability (or lack of it) and came up with four days of enjoyable trailriding which really built up my confidence and fantastic food, which left my system reeling from so much healthy eating (no Macdonalds for the entire trip!) and left me longing for another week of riding through the vineyards, woodland and along the white stone trails of the area.

If you think trailriding in France has been covered to the maximum, as I did, then think again, Trails De France is fresh, fun and fantastic value for money. You will not be disappointed.
Geoff Derbyshire, Eddie Stobart Trucks:
On my first visit to France with Craig my initial impression was WOW as the accommodation is a beautifully refurbished farm house in an idyllic location. During our stay we got well looked after eating meals at base that where healthy, nutritional and actually very tasty, packed lunches also got provided for our days riding.
On our first venture out I was apprehensive to say the least as I had not been on an off road bike for several years and with the trails literally on the door step I very early on had my nerves calmed!

Craig has an ability to judge the groups ability and tailor the routes to match, however don’t think things will be easy as he will make you challenge yourself. After three days and a lot of coaching, encouragement and light hearted leg pulling I could not believe how I had improved and the riding skills I had picked up and went home completely enthused to have a go at local enduro’s.

Overall a fantastic location and accommodation, an abundance of off road riding and a good crack, bring on the next trip!!
Simon Brown, CEO Bendi Forklift Trucks:
The location and setting of Tours de France couldn’t have been better, topped only by the beautifully restored Charente’s building which was base for us, bikes and kit for the duration.
The trails are set in the Cognac region, most of the white roads are deserted and there’s much fun to be had with the freedom of no other traffic. Our guide’s extensive knowledge of the region often lead to him diving off into what seemed to be a hedgerow and certain death only to reveal a labyrinth of paths leading through the dense trees and then we’d pop back out onto a white road sometimes hours later, grinning.
There’s riding for every level of off road ability from the extreme to the novice. The many disused rock and sand quarries in the area provide whatever level of challenge you feel up to.

We had four days riding and we didn’t do the same route twice, covering nearly 250 miles and after each day in the saddle, we were well fed, dowsed in beer and then slept like babes. The package was all inclusive and the guide turned out to be a bloody good chef! I had the time of my life and forged some strong friendships. I’d do it again in the blink of an eye.
