RD1 Putoline XC at Ashby de la Zouch
Team maximum arrived at the ashby circuit greeted to a fairly wet track, after setting up and doing final preparitions to the bike the team set about having a closer inspection at the track. As our thoughts was confirned the track was wet but looked easily rideable, as we headed to the wooded section of the track the track looked more challenging.
Jordon Lines was the first race of the day in the youth 144cc class. Jordon managed to get his bike started quickly and set about putting in a good start. Lying in 3rd position jordon was pushing himself to catch 2nd place, with a few mistakes jordon settled into a nice pace for the long 1 hour and half race. As the race progessed Jordon was slowly catching 2nd place but his bike fitness kicked in and unfortuantley Jordon remained in 3rd for the rest of the race.
With the youth race over the adults set about prepairing them selves for the 2 and half hour enduro ahead. Stuart lines was the firts to set off although on a 144cc he has many years experience behind him he set off into the distance at a good pace, next off the line was Michael Webb aboard the 450, stalling it on the first corner he had some catching up to do, shortly folloewed by Rhys Cook in the youth class who had a good start and was riding good, as the time ticked over everyone could see how challenging the track had become, at the hour mark Rhys Cook pulled in with bike problems unfortuantley that was the end to his day. Stuart pulled in to refuel and a fresh pair of goggles while feeling a litt;e tired was prepared to keep pushing, Michael pulled in after just two laps as the bike kept over heating, waiting for the bike to cool down to refill with coolant, he watched some of the other riders. Unfortuantley at about the 2 hour mark stuart seized the 150 putting an end to his day so with just michael left in the race all eyes was on him. shortly after Stuarts misshap michael decided to call it a day before any more damahe was don to the bike. The results are not yet known for the adult races. Although not a very succesful weekend i think the team will use it as a learning curve to do better next time.
Polesworth

As the team arrived at the polesworth circuit it was clear to see that the track was very dry with only a few wet patches. Upon closer inspection of the track it was frozen solid.
Practice was good the track was starting top thaw out creating some good lines for racing. Michael was the first race of the day, not having a good start due to hitting fallen riders he pushed hard to come back to a 17th position but was tiring quickly, race 2 was not too good either only managaing a 16th followed by a better ride i n the last race finishing 13th giving Michael 13th overall on the day.

Next race of the day was Jordon Lines, with having 3 terrible starts, jordon had his work cut out, it was clear to see that jordon was not at his usual pace today, managing a 18th ,17th and 13th gave Jordon 15th overall.

The last race of the day was Rhys Cook, rhys had 3 decent starts being mid pack making a bit of the battle done, managing to push the pace for the first few laps you could see that he was tiring quickly. Having a 9th, 10th and 6th position giving rhys a 6th overall a respectable finsih to the day.

It was clear to see that lack of time on bikes and gym was visible in the team. So with the team set to start training hard hopefully results will improve.
Next week Northampton @ LITTLE BOWDEN
