MX Training Days at J4M54 Check it out. The Youth class (Auto-85/150f) will run on Thursday 16th February 2012, and the Adult class (125-450f) will run on Friday 17th February 2012.
I have picked up new help in 2011 from Kestrel Honda in Coventry and Airport Tyres along with long term help from FeehilyMx and Fro Systems, so far 2011 is looking promising!
I finally got back on the bike for the first time since back in October. It was time to put the off season training to the test and off it was to J4M54 circuit. The weekend brought with it a mixture of emotions, It started off having a great time back on the bike and testing out the new Go Pro Helmet Camera.
The track was slightly hard in places but again Lee Jones, the owner of the circuit, had done another great job on the track.
I can't put into words how much I have missed riding but I didn't take any chances and had a good but safe time.
On the night this was the turn of emotions with me having to rush our dog Budha to the Vets where he later lost his fight with a brain disease, which he has had since he was 10 months old. Budha made a big impression on everyones life who had spent time with him and will be sadly missed.
Well what more can I say, 2012 hasn't started very well for me and my family but Budha will always be in our hearts and minds.
I am still waiting on some news on a few things that I have put into place at the end of 2011, so hopefully I can bring some positive things for the rest of 2012.

Good to go for 2012
I hope you all had a great Xmas and New Year. It has been a long few months from the end of October, when I decided to end it for the season, but looking back at the 2011 season, I ended it on a high and sometimes that is the best way. The British Masters didn't quite go to plan with me not scoring in two of the rounds, but I still managed to finish in 11th position so if I had scored, I would have been well inside of the top 10.
I have been training hard over the close season with me getting a good training routine with Swimming, Gym and Cycling, which I think was my weakness in 2011 and also not having enough bike time but this is all going to change in 2012. I am happy to say that in the 2012 season, I have the continuous support of my family, Wayne and Janetta at FeehilyMx/A5MX and also Colin and Kay at Kestrel Honda and also FOX Europe. New to Team MarchantMx, is that I will be running Dunlop Tyres for 2012.
It is only a few months before the AMCA and the British Masters starts on Sunday 4th March. I will continue with my training program and will start to get out on the bike in January to get ready for the new season. I will also be holding a Youth and Adult MarchantMx training days in February and April hopefully weather permitting.
Well lets hope that 2012 is a good year for me and I will see you all soon.
